THE CBA PARTY

Something didn’t feel right about the fact that people weren’t voting to change the society that they were living in. Especially since they had registered to do it. So myself and a team of people set about to change that.

We can't be arsed to vote in the election. Not my words, but the words of the 15.8 million people who registered and then didn’t vote in the 2015 general election.

If they were a political party, they would easily be the largest. And that made me sad that people weren't giving a s**t about this country that we call home.

So with the help of a small team (and a lot of favours) we enlisted comedian Naz Osmanoglu to head up our political party, The Can't Be Arsed Party, to find out why people weren't voting. We got some great responses, and even managed to get a cameo appearance from Private Eye editor Ian Hislop.

The final film, and the mobile stings below, directed people to our website where we revealed that the CBA Party was actually the Campaign to Banish Apathy. From there we gave people the tools they needed to find out who, where, and why to vote.
