Next Gen Silence

Every year at 11am on 11th November, a two minute silence is held to allow people to pay their respects to those who sacrificed their lives in all conflicts.

Yet, at this time, up to 150,00 gamers in the UK alone will be playing war-themed titles. 

This personal project wanted to offer them a way to pay their respects. 

We went to DICE (the makers of the popular Battlefield series) with an idea. And we approached ABF: The Soldiers Charity and have them on board. 

And with their help, On November 11th, at 11am, anyone playing online will find that their gun will automatically drop, poppies will grow on the battlefield before them, and for 2 minutes, all guns will be silent, allowing people to remember the fallen.

We've called it the Next Gen Silence.
