In the early stages of the Coronavirus it became pretty clear that businesses and their advertising would have to change. Rather than selling, companies would have to support people. EE was no different and, when they saw the incredible work the NHS was doing for the country, they needed a way to tell those key workers they could get unlimited data for 6 months.

So the puns were ditched, the fancy sets and the mammoth production team were canned, and we used video conferencing to direct a commercial with Kevin Bacon in his LA home instead. Potentially a first of its kind?
